(Sorry, y’all. Clearly, I’m not one of those post-every-day sorta bloggers.)
On Sunday, Ben woke up sad and crying. But at least he wanted to snuggle with me while he cried. We had a relaxing morning: breakfast, pool, laundry.
James called in the afternoon and we made plans to meet him down the street from the front gate of the base. This time we had a nice relaxing day, sans subway.
We walked a few short blocks to the Korean War Memorial. The kids climbed on planes and tanks and we took funny pictures with the statues.
(I tried a different way to upload the photos, since there are so many. If you click on a picture, it should open bigger.)
(And sorry for the repeat of the pictures that are posted lower…can’t get them out of the “gallery.” Double your pleasure, see them twice.)
Ben told us he was hungry…luckily Uncle James was there to let us know exactly what Ben wanted to eat! We wandered down a few more blocks and found a Chinese restaurant, oddly enough, that had what he wanted. And then he ordered something different. I can’t pronounce, let alone spell, either of them.
He LOVED his food and kept saying how good it was. (Adorable!) We’ve since discovered that he is happiest while eating. Every meal is the happiest one ever.
After dinner, we walked back to the hotel, ate some ice cream and settled in for bed.
Day Eight: We ride the subway for ever and ever, and get lost in Incheon.
