My Fish

2014 has been busy so far!

We’ve been watching Abby swim quite a bit.  Meets are early morning, long day affairs.  We try to come prepared with lots of snacks and lots of electronic amusements.

Abby is doing great and continues to take time off her strokes at every meet.  We’re dreaming of future scholarships already. 😉

Following in her sister’s footsteps – or perhaps in her wake –  Emma made the pre-swim team about a month ago.  Pre-swim team practices twice a week instead of four times, and doesn’t compete.  They’re basically being coached to improve their strokes and endurance.

Here she is after swimming to try out for pre-swim team.  So proud.

This week, after only a month of pre-swim team, she made the real swim team! So now I have two little fishies to take to practice four nights a week.  I am thankful for kiddos with strong, healthy bodies.

I’m so proud of the girls. I was wondering how the girls can get all their long hair up in those caps…and I notice that in the first picture, Abby’s hair IS wet anyway!
