Ben has started some school work.  He’s learning to read (he can read the first few Bob books), write letters and do math.  As long as I space it out – letting him do one subject and then run around for a half hour or so before starting the next one – he seems to like it and is doing great!

Spiderman has to learn math, too.

I’ve been trying some different things for reading time, but the girls came up with this one themselves.  As they read, they pushed their legs back and forth against each other.  Hey, at least they weren’t fighting.  And they were reading.  I’ll take it.

But THIS is all Ben really wants to do: play the Wii.  Specifically, play Super Mario on the Wii.  He is obsessed.  Crazy obsessed.

Happy boy.

Nothing wrong with Spider-Man doing a bit of learning… I now feel I may have missed out on a few things socially growing up in school, so I buy my nephews mostly Spider-Man shirts & stuff (like for Sam’s birthday last week) in case their friends say things like, “Cool kids don’t do their homework.”
